Satmar Yartzeit Seuda at Kerestirer Shtibel of Miami Beach

This Thursday night, Kuf Vuv Av, will be the 31st Yuhrtzeit of the world renowned Reb Yoel of Satmar zt"l. In honor of the event, K'hal Beis Yeshaya D'kerestir will be hosting a Yuhrtzeit Seuda L'iluy Nishmaso.

Speakers will include: Rabbi Yoikel Grosz Shlita - talmid of the Rebbe zt"l; Reb Moshe Hendler Shlita - talmid of the Rebbe zt"l; Rabbi Nissen Friedman Shlita - Rosh Mesivta in Miami Beach; Reb Yisroel Ephrati; and Rabbi Shlomo Feivel Shustal Shlita - Rosh Yeshiva Torah Temimah of Brooklyn, will be giving the main address.

Maariv Thursday night will be at 9:00
Netilas Yodayim at 9:20
Bentching at 10:30

HaGaon Rav Shlomo Feivel Shustal Shlita, Rosh Yeshiva of Torah Temima in Brooklyn, will be saying divrei chizuk at Miami Beach Community Kollel after the Kiddush this Shabbos morning, Parshas Eikev.

On thursday night Iy"h, the Rosh Yeshiva will speak at the Yortzeit Seuda L'iluy nishmas the Satmar Rebbe zt"l, which will take place at the Kerestirer Shtibel.

New Newspaper Opens in Competion to Jewish Journal

Miami, FL - A new newspaper opened by the Miami Herald is seeking to compete against the Sun-Sentinal's monopoly on the Jewish South Florida newspaper industry. This paper run by an Orthodox family from Miami Beach will start as an online paper featuring news from the Jewish community run under the auspices of the Miami Herald. The idea of a Jewish paper in South Florida has been taken up by many, but non have succeeded as well as the Sun-Sentinal. Time will tell if the Miami Herald's idea will pay off. More details will be posted as soon as they become available.
